Objectives:- by the end of the lesson, students will be able to: Greetings – Introducing.
Language focus: Vocabulary: Nam, Mai, Nga and Phong.
Structures: Hi, Hello, Iam+ name.
Teaching aids: Text book, Pic, cassette, workbook ……
II. Procedure:

Warm up: - Greet the ss in Vietnamese.
- Introduce name and new subject.
Look, listen and repeat:
-Let’s ss to introduce the picture in 1.1.
2. New lesson:
A. Look, listen and repeat:
Ask Ss to look at the picture and present people in it.
- Present new words: Hello, Hi, Mai, Nam.
- Introdure how to use Hi and Hello
- Present model sentences:
Hello, I’m Mai.
Hi, Mai. I’m Nam.
I’m = Iam.
Call some Ss to read the sentences in 1.1
- Ss look at pic in 1.1 practice .
- Play CD three times listen and repeat.

B. Look and say:
- Who are they in the picture?
- Look at the picture and speak.
- Call some students to stand up and read aloud.
- Have some Ss work in pairs and groups and practice. Play the role in pic 2.a,b,c,d. the look and say.
- Check some pairs, group at class.





C. Consolidation and Homelink.
- Consolidate the lesson .
- Give remarks
- Ss learn by heart New words and sentences.
- Greet in Vietnamese

- Listen:
- they are greeting and introduce.




- Look at the picture and listen.

- Look, listen, repeat then take note.

- Listen, repeat and copy.


- Read aloud

- Do Ex 1, 2 in workbook.

I.Overview.

2. New lesson:
A.Talk:
- Look at the picture and introdure. what are they talking?
- Look at the conversation and complete the conversation.
- In pairs students introduce their name the same in the book.
- Ask Ss to describe the sistuation
- Have some Ss make a dialogue with their true names.
- Call Ss work in pairs.
- Do as example if the Ss don’t understand.
- look the pic and then work in pairs with the name of pic before class.
- Teacher give the correct answer.
B. Let’s chant:
- Ask Ss look at the pic and song in the books then read aloud.
- play casset and repeat.
- Listen repeat and chants.
- Play games : Chants and clap who clap right is winner.
- Using the puppet and play the roles.
C. Consolidation and Homelinks:
- Consolidate grammar about greeting and introducing and ask.
- Homelinks: Learn by hear new words and patten sentences.
- Greet in Vietnamese
